Change seems to be popular and change is coming to GreatLeague.com. The changes will improve the overall league experience and enhance communication among members, admins and staff of our leagues.

The changes will include redesigning our default league pages, our members login area, and the ways members and staff communicate. Most of the communications we now rely on getting from e-mails, which are often being blocked, will come on our member pages and staff pages instead. The default league site will be entirely redesigned and its purpose changed. Rather than be a multi-purpose site with all the links, the new league site will be for the purpose of providing information about the league for players considering joining the league. League admins will still be able to customize this and use pages from re-direct, however, the page will prominently feature at the top two links. Those two links will be Member Login and Signup Free buttons. All of the other links on our standard menu, designed for use by members, will be moved to the main page that members see when they log in as members. Additionally, members and staff will receive most communications on that page as updates published there, rather than via e-mail. Bux winnings and league newsletters will all be on that page for members to read, as well as all the other buttons currently on the menu (standings, bux log, etc.). This will also prevent those who recruit from other leagues by viewing the members list, since this information will only be available to members of that league.

These changes will improve our communications and make our league sites more functional and effective for members and staff. We look forward to introducing these changes to the GreatLeague community soon.
